Stanford, Jerod Haase attempt to fill large void

Two questions into Josh Sharma’s news conference at Thursday’s Pac-12 media day, Daejon Davis just had to interrupt.
“The mikes pick up pretty well, so you don’t have to yell,” Davis joked.
Sharma responded: “Point guards always lead.”
With the graduations of Dorian Pickens and Michael Humphrey and the transfer of Reid Travis to Kentucky, there are plenty of openings for leaders on the Stanford roster, and Davis appears to grabbing one as a sophomore.
Davis, who averaged 10.7 points, 4.8 assists and 4.4 rebounds as freshman, has taken on a more vocal leadership role as the Cardinal try to overcome the substantial departures.
