Despite transfers, Oregon women are the pick in Pac-12 poll

Oregon has lost four transfers from the team that went to the NCAA Elite Eight for the second straight time last season. Nevertheless, the Ducks still look like the class of the Pac-12.
That’s what the conference coaches decided when they made Oregon the favorite in the preseason poll, giving the Ducks all but one first-place vote. Stanford, which had the other first-place vote, and Cal are projected to finish second and fourth, respectively.
Mallory McGwire, who played a key role off the bench last season, left for Boise State with two years of eligibility remaining. Sierra Campisano switched to Cal Poly, Aina Ayuso left to play in her native Spain, and Anelli Maley transferred to TCU.
